His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. —John
Arielle Blackburn is a Tel Aviv–based writer, designer, and found-materials artist of twenty years. She follows flickers until they reveal the gold embedded in ancient texts and lived experience.
She drops identity, faith & belonging into the deep end to see if they can swim.
And when she's not writing, she chops up clothes to sew them back together, or hunts for hidden gems in the forms of cities, cafés, boutiques, museums, and wayside pile ups.
She does this all nearby her growing-fast child and a spouse whose many talents practically eclipse her own. But alas, he does not write.
